In 2026, the Karazin University Alumni, Faculty and Friends Association, within the framework of the Mentor Talks: Alumni for Students program, jointly with the America House Window Center of the Central Scientific Library of Karazin University and with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, implemented the **CAREER BUILDER** intensive program.
The project aimed to develop practical skills in career planning, job search, professional self-presentation, and preparation of students and early-career researchers for entering the modern labor market. The initiative contributed to the development of participants’ ability to consciously manage their career paths, apply strategic thinking, build self-marketing skills, enhance professional adaptability, and improve digital literacy.
The intensive program consisted of five sessions conducted in both online and offline formats. Together with invited mentors—alumni of Karazin University—participants engaged in SWOT analysis, identified their strengths and areas for development, learned how to navigate the labor market, explored local and international career platforms, created professional CVs, and practiced self-presentation skills for job interviews.
As a result of the program, participants completed a comprehensive practical career preparation cycle, ranging from self-assessment and resume development to interview practice and receiving professional feedback. The project also fostered the engagement of Karazin University alumni as mentors, experts, employers, and partners in educational initiatives focused on the professional development of students and early-career researchers.
