The NGO "Karazin Alumni, Faculty and Friends Association", in partnership with the School of Economics of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, successfully implemented the Startup Summer School project, held from 6 to 11 July 2026. The program brought together university students, researchers, and industry professionals to foster entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and modern approaches to creating and scaling startups.
The successful implementation of the project was made possible through the coordination and organizational efforts of the Association, which was responsible for planning and delivering the Summer School, coordinating with partner universities, recruiting participants, engaging expert speakers, and ensuring all necessary conditions for the event.
Throughout the week, participants took part in lectures, practical workshops, training sessions, panel discussions, and expert meetings focused on developing entrepreneurial competencies, digital leadership, innovative thinking, teamwork, and transforming business ideas into viable startup projects. An equally important aspect of the program was networking, knowledge sharing, and building new professional connections.
For the Karazin Alumni Association, supporting educational initiatives that contribute to the development of young people, strengthen leadership skills, and foster entrepreneurial competencies is one of its strategic priorities. The Startup Summer School is another example of how collaboration between the nonprofit sector, the academic community, and partner organizations can create meaningful opportunities for the professional and personal development of the next generation.
